Kelly Olson, Ph.D., is a neuroscientist, author, and keynote speaker who believes that assessing and addressing disease requires an integrative approach. Kelly's ability to illuminate the molecular misadventures that lead to disease is what makes her special - proving time and again that a splash of nerdy, with a big dash of passion, goes a long way. She has been in research and development for over 2 decades examining what holds people back from their ultimate vitality and optimal vibrancy from a comprehensive lens including pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, dietary, and biological factors. She has held executive-level positions in biotechnology, medical devices, and laboratory testing (toxicology and pharmacogenetics), and currently is the Director of Clinical Affairs with one of the largest specialty toxicology laboratories in the United States. Kelly thrives at taking very complex medical information, turning it into bite-sized key concepts, and delivering this information to audiences of all sizes and backgrounds, promoting deeper understanding and application. She has lectured all over the world and has authored/co-authored several peer reviewed articles, textbook and book chapters, books, posters,
and presentations, all aimed at providing a clinically applicable compendium of knowledge to ultimately help healthcare practitioners get their clients/patients well faster.
Dr. Olson received her Master of Science in exercise physiology from the University of North Dakota, and her PhD in Pharmacology & Therapeutics (with a focus on molecular neuropharmacology) from the University of Manitoba.
